We acknowledge that At-Risk-Together Co-operative School is run on Treaty 6 Territory, traditional homeland of the NÄ“hiyawak, Lakota, Dakota, and Métis Nation. We pay respect to the First Nations and Ancestors of Turtle Island. We are committed to the work of conciliation and decolonization of our thinking and actions. We are further committed to ensuring ART’s preschool programming includes age-appropriate curriculum on residential schools, Treaties, and Indigenous peoples’ historical and contemporary contributions to Canada as described in the TRC Calls to Action.
Why At-Risk-Together?
ART Co-operative was established to provide a safer in-person schooling option for immunocompromised and higher health-risk families.

Our flagship initiative has been to establish a preschool and licensed childcare centre where health, safety, and social learning co-exist.

We are pleased to now welcome families with a low-risk tolerance for infection for other reasons. If you think ART might be the right choice for your family, get in touch!

We are currently exploring our next phase of work in ensuring safer in-person learning - stay tuned!
Finding a safer space for our child to attend preschool has helped our family immensely. ART's offering excellent ventilation, and policies for masking, illness and vaccination have truly have provided us with a feeling of comfort for sending our child to preschool. It has also allowed us to keep our medically complex family member safe.
When we started our kids at ART Preschool, I was expecting better safety, but I am delighted at the quality of the learning, the coziness of the environment, and the sense of community. It's really a testament to the fact that you don't have to choose between safety and a vibrant learning environment, if you apply all the science you can!
